St Patrick's Primary School & ELC
St. Patrick’s Primary School is a Catholic primary school situated in the centre of the town of Denny, which is approximately 6 miles from Falkirk.
St. Patrick’s is a semi-open plan building and its design lends itself to a variety of group and individual teaching methods. Group teaching methods are in operation at all stages in an effort to ensure that all children get maximum benefit from the resources available both in teaching expertise and from the excellent teaching aids throughout the school. There is a range of extra curricular activities available for pupils after school. Parents will always be informed about these clubs by the school.
Our current building was officially opened in April 1982 but St Patrick’s Primary School has been in existence for over 160 years. The former site of the school was where Carronbank Medical Centre is now situated.
We have 264 pupils in 11 classes. We have an Enhanced Provision catering for children with Additional Support Needs and an Early Learning Centre catering for up to 64 ante and pre-school children. We have 11 support staff.
